What will Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom be doing at Ag Fest?

During the two day event, Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom (AITC) will have a booth, where we will be ready to answer any questions you might have! The booth will feature the Oregon AITC program, including the Free Loan Library, Regional Workshops, and the annual Literacy Project. In addition, we will have information about our Calendar Art Contest and Young Artist Contest.

The best part is there will be a hands on activity for children to learn about Oregon agriculture. This year we will be making “Ag in a Bag” necklaces! Children will learn about the 6 F’s of Oregon agriculture while creating their necklaces. They are sure to enjoy their necklaces filled with unique pieces that represent agriculture in Oregon!
