Materials List

  • 1/2 cup uncooked long-grain rice
  •  1/2 cup water
  •  1/3 cup chopped onion
  •  1 teaspoon salt
  •  1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  •  dash of ground pepper
  •  1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  •  1 pound lean ground beef
  •  2 Tablespoon vegetable oil
  •  15 oz. can tomato sauce
  •  1 cup water
  •  2 Tablespoon brown sugar
  •  2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Porcupine meatballs are fun, kid-friendly food, made with ground beef, rice, onion, tomato soup, and seasonings.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients.
  • Next, add the ground beef and mix well. Shape into 1 – 1 1/2 inch balls.
  • In a large skillet, brown meatballs in oil; drain.
