School Garden Resource Center

Oregon has over 600 school fruit and vegetable gardens and native plant areas that can be engaging venues for hands-on learning with structured, standards-aligned lessons. Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom’s lessons and Free Loan Library books are well-suited to school garden settings (see lists below), but we also support statewide and nationwide school garden curricula and resources that our teachers and partners have found useful.  If you’d like to suggest a school garden resource that has helped you and your students, contact us!
