Join us to learn about agriculture through five virtual field, augmented reality experiences! We invite Oregon 4th-12th grade teachers to apply to attend this professional development to learn to implement these experiences in your classroom with curriculum that aligns to each agricultural content area. The provided curriculum is aligned to NGSS standards for middle and high school educators. We will holding two sessions a virtual and in-person professional development. Participants of this workshop will leave with ready-to-implement curriculum and a curriculum stipend.

Participants will explore the augmented reality field experiences developed by Oregon State University’s PreCollege Programs and OSU Extension 4-H Youth Development Program. These experiences allow students to take a deeper look into dairy farms, urban agriculture, aquaculture, organic and sustainable horticulture and equestrian farms. Participants will explore methods of using these experiences in their classroom with NGSS aligned curriculum. Leave this workshop with curriculum, resources and a participant stipend to integrate these agricultural concepts in your classroom!

Time: 11:00 – 3:30 PM PST
Location: Redmond, Oregon
A $500 stipend will be provided to participants to integrate the curriculum.
