Cheese is Whey Cool, Grades 3-12
Location: Helvetia Creamery, Tuesday February 20th
Over the course of an hour, Dave Grossen will take participants on a tour of his cheese-making operation. From milk to hard cheese, you will learn about the processes it takes transforming a liquid into this tasty treat. Tour will include a sampling of cheese! Applicants will be selected based on the following criteria: new to network teachers, student reach and geographical diversity.

Location: Working Theory Farm
During this experience our host, Capers, will take us on a tour of Working Theory Farm. We will see the process from seed to healthy greens and what it takes to keep a working farm going! After our tour we will go though some resources you can use to inspire your growing minds to learn more about farming! Participants will receive an assortment of a materials they can take back to their classroom. This is a great opportunity for for Elementary educators or just wanting to talk more about gardens in their school!
