The Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation provides free curriculum, resources and training to K-12 educators. The program promotes using agriculture to teach science, math, history, nutrition and other subjects across existing curriculum.
Help students explore the beauty and bounty of Oregon agriculture with our annual Calendar Art Contest. Students in grades K-6 are invited to submit their originally artistic depiction of agriculture in our state. Contest entries are due May 6, 2020!
Agriculture in the Classroom is a nationwide educational program designed to help students develop an awareness and understanding that agriculture is the source of our food, clothing, shelter and other essentials. In Oregon, the program is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) foundation. The College of Agricultural Sciences at Oregon State University (OSU) provides office space on the OSU campus.
