Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom Impact

By the Numbers

2022-2023 School Year

Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom is only able to continue the mission of helping educators incorporate agricultural resources into their classroom because of the educators, volunteers, and everyone who supports this program however they can! Thank you to all who make this possible!

Oregon Students

During the last school year, Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation reached 319,457 students in every county in Oregon with agricultural education.

Students are reached through various programs and resources that Oregon AITC offers including the Lending Library, the annual Agricultural Literacy Project, the Calendar Art Contest, and more!

Oregon Educators

We get to work every day with the most amazing and dedicated groups of teachers and non traditional educators from all around the state! We work hard to make sure that we can provide quality, relevant, and useful resources for whatever your classroom needs are when it comes to teaching agriculture! During the 2022-2023 school year, we trained 311 educators and would love to hear from you if you have yet to attend one of our regional workshops!

Volunteers

We would not be able to reach the students that we do every year without the dedication of the amazing volunteers who believe in our mission of “helping students grow in their knowledge of agriculture”.

The Annual Agricultural Literacy Project was made possible by the help of hundreds of volunteers who gave their time to visit local classrooms and teach students about agriculture!
