Jade Davidson

Executive Director

Jade’s love for agriculture can be attributed to her many experiences across the United States. While growing up, she worked on a local vegetable farm near her home in Minnesota. She received her B.S. in Coordinated Dietetics from Texas Christian University. In Texas, she could be found volunteering at community gardens. She then moved to rural Alabama for a year to farm before moving to Athens, Georgia, to obtain her master’s and PhD in Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication from the University of Georgia. Jade oversees the daily operations of Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom and works to develop the program to meet the ever-changing needs of Oregon educators and promote the greatest industry in the world, Oregon Agriculture!

Evelyn Tedrick

Education Programs Coordinator

Evelyn’s deep-rooted passion for community and keen interest in where things come from have taken her on farming experiences across the globe. Experiencing farms from the Rogue Valley to farms in Eastern Ireland, there is one thing that remains a constant: agriculture thrives on hard work and reciprocity. This understanding shapes her work today, as she encourages children to take pride in Oregon’s diverse and vibrant agricultural landscape. After earning a BA in Humanities and Journalism from the University of Oregon, Evelyn’s journey into education began in elementary schools, where she discovered her love for helping kids grow, learn, and connect with the world around them. As the Education Programs Coordinator for Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom, she’s excited to create programs that inspire curiosity, foster a love of the land, and connect students to the farming traditions that make Oregon unique. Evelyn hopes to promote engagement with agriculture in schools and help expand understanding and appreciation of all of the important roles agriculture has throughout Oregon.
