Join Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom for a fun-filled career event at the Northwest Ag Show at the Oregon State Fairgrounds. This event will feature opportunities for students to interact with professionals in a variety of different careers in the agricultural industry.
This event is FREE for schools to attend. Transportation and substitute reimbursements will be provided to all schools accepted.

This event is geared towards sophomores and juniors in high school, however all high school students are welcome to attend.

Location: State Fairgrounds, Salem
Cost: This event is free for all attendees. Bus reimbursement and substitute reimbursement is available for all attendees.
Lunch will be provided.
This event will give your students the opportunity to explore career options in the agriculture industry by providing face-to-face learning experiences and the opportunity to develop their business networking skills with the help of dozens of local companies.
Following registration, students will have the opportunity to hear from Kirk Maag, a Natural Resources attorney working in Portland, Oregon. Kirk will inspire students to find their passions and work towards their goals whatever those might be.
Following the keynote, students will have the opportunity to interact in small groups of eight-ten other students with agricultural professionals. Students will also visit the agricultural career show and participate in a guided learning opportunity to both interact with participants as well as observe and reflect on STEM components of agriculture.
Thanks to a generous grant, this event is available at no cost to students or schools. Transportation expenses will be reimbursed.
