Agricultural Literacy Subscription Box
Learn about Oregon agriculture!
Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom is excited to introduce our Agricultural Literacy Subscription Box program. Oregon K-5th grade educators are invited to apply to learn about Oregon agriculture through these fun, hands-on lessons. Each month, participants will receive a box featuring an agricultural topic, including a FREE children’s book and materials for an associated lesson. The application for the 2025-26 School Year is now open. To be considered for this year’s subscription box program, you must apply by 5 PM on Friday, August 22.

Program Requirements
Participants of the program must agree to utilize the materials in the month they are designated for as seen in the list linked below. As a requirement of the grant that funded this program, students must be given a 10 question pre-test prior to the start of the activities in September and a post-test at the conclusion of the activities in June to measure student’s growth in agricultural knowledge over the school year. The test will be provided to teachers by email upon acceptance into the program for use with students. For younger grades, students can take this test together as a class.
