Watersheds: Water, the Land, and You

Join us for this very special workshop in which we’ll learn about watersheds with guest educator, Scott McEwen, of the Tualatin River Watershed Council. Scott will lead us along an informational journey on how water works its way through the landscape, how human activities affect the watershed, and what actions schools can take to have a positive impact on their local watershed!

In the second part of the workshop educators will learn about the various Oregon AITC resources available to help bring this information into their classrooms. Time will also be reserved for educators to have collaborative conversation.

Free classroom resources will be mailed out to participating educators proceeding the workshop. Educators must be present to receive materials.
