Harvest of the Month

Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom is excited to introduce our Harvest of the Month (H.O.M) program. Oregon 4th-12th grade educators are invited to apply to learn about Oregon agriculture through standard aligned hands-on learning, taste tests, and opportunities to connect farmers, ranchers, fishermen, and producers who grow and raise food in Oregon! Each month, educators receive classroom-ready materials centered around a featured Oregon commodity, helping students make meaningful connections between agriculture, science, literacy, nutrition, and Oregon’s natural resources. Applicants will be selected based on the following criteria: new to network teachers, geographical diversity, and application content.
