Lessons and activities are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), Oregon Common Core Standards (CCSS) and Oregon Social Sciences Standards (OSSS). VIRTUAL Sheep and Wool Workshop

We are excited to offer a virtual sheep and wool workshop in the spring of 2026. Join us as we explore the importance of sheep in Oregon. Attendees will hear from guest speakers in the industry and learn about Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom materials that highlight the importance of this FIBER. Plus, attendees will receive free classroom materials.
This workshop is FREE to attend. This workshop is open to educators K-12 with Next Generation Science Standards aligned curriculum.

Beef and Cattle Workshop

Join us for back-to-back Beef and Cattle workshops in Eastern Oregon. We will kick off this workshop series with an evening “Get-to-Know Oregon AITC!” event. Then, we will host two six-hour workshops, one in Boardman and one in Pendleton. Finally, we will finish the series with a virtual field trip at Beef Northwest, which educators from across the state will be able to join.

Join us via Zoom to learn from Claudia Lucero at Urban Cheesecraft. Claudia will share with educators how to make mozzarella cheese in the classroom with students. Participants will receive the mozzarella kit after attending the workshop.
