Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom is hosting virtual and in-person professional development opportunities to provide educators with ready to implement resources that integrate agriculture in to existing curriculum. Lessons and activities are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), Oregon Common Core Standards (CCSS) and Oregon Social Sciences Standards (OSSS). Literacy Workshops, Grades K-5
Date: May 17, 3:30 – 4:30 (PST), Registration Closed
Location: Virtual via Zoom
K- 5 educators will be introduced to agriculturally themed curriculum to increase student’s agricultural literacy. Participants of this workshop will receive books and related curriculum activities to be used in their classroom library. To receive the materials, participants must be present during the live virtual professional development.
