Lessons and activities are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), Oregon Common Core Standards (CCSS) and Oregon Social Sciences Standards (OSSS). 21 Days of Discovery – Hatching Chicks

Explore embryology in the classroom through hatching chicks! Participants of this workshop will receive an egg incubator and be introduced to curriculum to use with students in providing basic needs for growing chicks through incubation.
April 2023
Bees, Grades K-12
Location: TBD
Explore the anatomical features of honey bees and learn about the process of creating honey. Participants will get the opportunity to talk to a bee keeper and experienced elementary teacher about integrating honey curriculum in their classroom. Upon completion of the workshop, teachers will receive materials to make products of beeswax with their students. Geared towards students in grades K-12.
