Educator Workshops

Bring your classroom to life!

Interested in incorporating agriculture, natural resources and the environment into your classroom but not quite sure how? Let us help get you started with a teacher training.

Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom staff will travel across the state to provide educators with resources and materials that integrate agriculture into existing curriculum. Lessons and activities are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Oregon Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Several hands-on activities, new resources and ideas are provided at these interactive workshops.

Workshops and resources are provided free of charge and schools and school districts may request a workshop customized to meet their needs.

Contact AITC to discuss details and schedule a workshop for your school or school district at aitc@oregonstate.edu or call (541) 737-8629. A minimum of 12 teachers per training is preferred.

VIRTUAL Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom Intro and Refresher Workshop:
September 24th | 4:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. VIRTUAL

Join us for this special introduction and refresher tour of our Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom programs and resources. We will provide a helpful tour of our website; tips on how to take advantage of our lending library resources and other programs; and a preview of our 2026-2027 school year programming. All statewide and Washington County educators (including school staff, garden coordinators, partner organizations, etc.) are invited to attend!
