Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom is hosting virtual and in-person professional development opportunities to provide educators with ready to implement resources that integrate agriculture in to existing curriculum. Lessons and activities are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), Oregon Common Core Standards (CCSS) and Oregon Social Sciences Standards (OSSS). VIRTUAL Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom Intro and Refresher Workshop:
Date: September 24th | 4:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.

Join us for this special introduction and refresher tour of our Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom programs and resources. We will provide a helpful tour of our website; tips on how to take advantage of our lending library resources and other programs; and a preview of our 2026-2027 school year programming. All statewide and Washington County educators (including school staff, garden coordinators, partner organizations, etc.) are invited to attend!

Location: Virtual
Join us via Zoom to learn from Claudia Lucero at Urban Cheesecraft. Claudia will share with educators how to make mozzarella cheese in the classroom with students. Participants will receive the mozzarella kit after attending the workshop.
