This six part series is a publication of National Agriculture in the Classroom. Issue three tells the story of how plants and animals raised on farms depend on essential natural resources — like the sun, soil, water, and air — and explains how farmers use methods to protect and preserve those resources while still producing the food, fiber, and fuel we need.
